The National Field Archery Society

The NFAS exists to foster and promote Field Archery as a sport. Courses are unmarked (i.e. unknown distances), usually situated in woodland, targets are predominantly 3D or paper animal faces.

There are ten shooting styles within the society: Primitive, Longbow, American Flatbow, Hunting Tackle, Bowhunter, Barebow, Freestyle, Crossbow, Compound Limited and Unlimited and each style is split into six classes: Gents, Ladies, Junior Boys, Junior Girls, U12 (Cub) Boys, U12 (Cub) Girls.


GNAS Or Archery GB as it is now known.

South Wilts Archery Club

South Wilts Archery Club is based in Salisbury and covers South Wiltshire and the surrounding area. It is one of the oldest clubs in the country having been founded in 1859 and offers target, field and clout archery.

We are a field archery club formed in 1982 by Pete Hunt (Chairman), based in Bremhill, near Calne in Wiltshire. Set in beautiful Wiltshire woodland. Druids is an Affiliated Member of N.F.A.S. (National Field Archery Society). All styles of bow. We welcome all to come and join.
